What this site is

rentshepherd.com is a marketing and early access site for a product that has not yet launched. Everything described here is what we intend to build. By using the site you agree to these terms; if you do not agree, please do not use it.

There is no account and nothing to buy

This site has no sign-up, no login, no checkout and no subscription. You cannot purchase anything here, we cannot take payment from you, and there is nothing to cancel. The only thing you can do is join the early access list.

The prices shown are planned prices

$29, $79, $149 and “Custom” are the plans we intend to launch with. They are illustrative and may change before launch. They are not an offer to sell, and displaying them creates no contract. When a plan actually becomes purchasable it will carry its own subscription terms, which you will see and accept at that point.

The early access list

Joining the list is free and puts you under no obligation. It does not reserve a price, a plan, a unit count or a place in any queue, and it does not oblige us to provide the service to you. We may email you about RentShepherd; ask us to remove you and we will. What we collect and how we handle it is set out in our privacy policy.

Descriptions of a product under development

Feature descriptions on this site — tenant answering, repair triage, vendor dispatch, rent collection, renewals, owner reports — describe planned functionality. Features may change, be delayed, be released in a different form, or not ship at all. Please do not make business decisions on the assumption that a described feature will exist by a particular date.

Guides and blog posts are general information, not advice

Our articles discuss landlord and tenant situations in general terms. They are not legal, financial, tax, insurance or professional advice. Landlord-tenant rules differ in every state and in many cities, and they change. Check with a qualified professional before acting on anything you read here.

Acceptable use

• Do not attempt to disrupt, overload, probe or gain unauthorised access to the site.
• Do not scrape the site abusively or use automated tools to submit the form.
• Do not submit false details, or someone else’s details without their permission.
• Do not use the form to send anything unlawful, abusive or misleading.

Intellectual property

The RentShepherd name and mark, the wording on these pages, and the design of the site belong to us. You are welcome to quote a short passage with a link back. Please do not copy the site or substantial parts of it.

Links to other sites

Where we link to a third-party site, we do not control it and are not responsible for its content or its privacy practices.

Disclaimer and limitation of liability

This website is provided “as is”. We work to keep it accurate and available, but we do not warrant that it is free of errors or that it will always be reachable. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of, or reliance on, this website. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

Governing law

RentShepherd is operated from the United States. A governing-law and dispute-resolution clause will accompany the subscription terms published when the paid service launches; until then, this site is a free informational site and these terms cover only your use of it.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the product develops. Changes take effect when posted, and the “last updated” date above will change.
